プリントTのボディーを糸からこだわって作りました。米綿オープンエンド糸と落綿を50%ずつ混ぜ合わせた14/1の糸を使った天竺。オープンエンド糸は繊維間に空間があるためボリューム感があり、繊維が均一にならないのでザラ感が生じます。落綿は短繊維の組み合わせとなるため、凹凸やムラ感、柔らかい肌触りがうまれます。つまり、ザラ感はあるが着心地がいいTシャツを作りたかったのです。 通常よりゆったりとした身幅のボディーを顔料で染色し、プリントの後フェード加工を施します。

Crafted with the same specially developed fabric as above, this printed T-shirt is made using 14/1 jersey knit from a 50/50 blend of U.S. cotton open-end yarn and waste cotton. The open-end spinning gives volume and a rough texture, while the waste cotton provides irregularity and softness, striking the perfect balance between dry feel and comfort. The body is cut with a relaxed fit, pigment-dyed, printed, and finished with a fade treatment for a natural vintage look.
