19世紀後半、リーバイスも採用していた当時の世界最大生地メーカーAMOSKEAG社の11ozデニムを当時の資料を元に解析し再現。天然藍から合成インディゴへと変化した頃の深みのあるインディゴと19世紀の低い紡績技術による糸の激しいムラ形状が生の状態からすでに雰囲気を醸し出している素材。1900年代初頭に見られたオーバーオールはサイドシームレスになっている最古のディテールを採用。

This denim is a reproduction of an 11oz denim from Amoskeag, the world’s largest fabric manufacturer at the time (used by Levi’s in the late 19th century), based on careful analysis of documents from that period. Even in its raw state, this denim exudes something special due to its slubby texture resulting from the very rudimentary spinning technology of the time and the deep indigo color from an era where natural indigo was first being replaced with synthetic indigo. These have seamless sides, one of the oldest details found on items like these.
