大阪の大正紡績が世界に先駆けてリサイクルやヴィンテージという概念を付与された糸として1990年代に開発したラフィ糸。ラフィは紡績工程で削り落とされて生まれる落綿を再利用したもので、元のコットンの産地やその落綿の配分によって無限のバリエーションが生れます。＃16-という特注の番手を用いオリジナルの杢糸を作製し、小寸の丸編み機でサイズごとに編んだ生地を使用した拘りつくした杢Ｔシャツです。

Osaka-based Taishoboseki was the first company in the world to develop raffy yarn in the 1990s as a yarn based on the concepts of recycling and vintage. Raffy yarn is made by reusing cotton fluff and waste that is scraped off during the spinning process, and infinite variations can be created depending on the origin of the original cotton and the distribution of the resulting 'lost cotton'. This heathered T-shirt is made with original heathered thread with a custom-made thread count of #16-, and is knitted to size using a small circular knitting machine.
